           Italian Artist 'Marino Moretti' will be flying over to host another inspiring Masterclass

 

                            On the 17th & 18th March.  (10am - 4pm-ish!)  Do not miss this!

 

 

 

 

Join us for this very special 2 day Ceramic Decorating event, being held in our bright and comfortable studio at our premises near Reading. 

Internationally renowned Ceramic Artist Marino Moretti will be hosting this unique masterclass, demonstrating the art of his craft, developed over a lifetime of study and creation.  Decorate several items under his inspirational guidance while watching him create and paint throughout both days.   This is sure to be a very relaxed, enjoyable and informative experience. 

Listen and learn while Marino explains the inspiration behind his artwork. Watch him demonstrate how traditional medieval designs have influenced his popular contemporary work.  Allowing him to develop a unique style, creating some of the most amazing and highly sought after ceramic pieces.  (Hopefully he will bring a few items for you to see and if you wish, buy)

 

               Improve your confidence with free-handing brushwork to create beautiful, unique, personal artwork.

Several easy to follow projects will be planned over the course of the two days.  Marino will demonstrate how to develop a simple creative idea into a colourful and unique design.  Then captured onto some simple, plain bisque shapes using paint products you will already be familiar with, and a range of brushes you may not!  Learn how to 'Rule' the brush!  Which one to choose, how to load, how to hold, how to use!

Each project will be based on a design element from within Marino's artwork, carefully chosen to help develop your own artistic decorating skills.

                            Lunch on both days will be provided, along with endless teas, coffees, snacks, etc!

This is an event at which the main objective is to be inspired, helping you develop your own individual decorating styles.  Throw away those stencils, rip up those 'set-designs', Paint from the heart.  With Marino's friendly guidance relax and enjoy yourself, paint with the relish of a child; the finished item will then reflect far more of 'you' than any of your other work.  Isn't that the point of 'Paint your Own Pottery' after all?.  All artistic abilities are thoroughly welcomed!
