Description:
Paragon’s new Fusion-series digital hot glass kilns are packed with exciting features. They come in 6, 7, 8 and 10-sided versions. The Fusion-8 is the 8-sided middle of the range version is by far the most popular selling glass kiln in the U.K.
The kiln has basically the same construction and parts as the Ceramic Kilns Hobby Ceramicraft has sold in the U.K. for well over a decade, so spares and knowledge of maintainance and usage no problem to us.
The digital Sentry Xpress 3 key controller comes standard on all Fusion-series kilns. Control both heating and cooling with simple 3-key operation. These controllers give you just that; fine control over exactly the speed and level of firing and cooling that you require. Even the beginner can now achieve firing results that in the past took great experience and infinite patience to obtain.
The Fusion-8 is 11 deep and includes a heating element in the sidewalls. Enjoy enhanced heat control with fusing, slumping, and embossing. The Fusion-8 fires on 230 volts.
Why is a ceramics company selling a glass kiln?
Hobby Ceramicraft are the original Paragon kiln stockists in the U.K. having sold large numbers of ceramic kilns here over the years. We also host the Paragon kiln service and maintainance seminars in the U.K. of a fairly regular basis. We ship our kilns in quantity, not by small expensive air freight consignments as many others do, but by sea in 20 and 40 foot shipping containers. This means we can add a few small glass or silver clay kilns into the container at a very much lower freight cost per kiln. When you come to comparing our price at the bottom with those quoted by other smaller companies you will notice the very considerable difference. (Note also; we always include a furniture kit in our price. We think it silly to make it an extra; you would not buy a cooker then pay extra for some shelves would you!)
