285 Litre Top loading electric Pottery kiln.
This true production kiln has been designed to fire easily to a cone 10 (1300c) even with high mass loads and multiple kiln shelves.
Accomodating 26 inch half shelves, this monster of a kiln will become the engine of the busiest of ceramic studios.
The chamber width 28″ wide (71cm) with a depth of 27″ deep (68cm) will easily take 4 layers of ware, (floor plus 3 shelves), as a guide if you assume the average sized mug being 9cm wide by 11.5cm tall, this chap will guzzle up 148 per firing!
A mighty top-loader coming with all the standard features that set the "Cone Art" brand apart: heavy duty floor element, double wall design, patented lid lifter system, multi zone control, and over sized swing out control panel.
Three thermocouples give zoned control over top middle and bottom sections of the kiln, ensuring the most extreme control over balanced temperatures throughout the chamber possible.
A double wall construction results in energy efficiency, and the added element in the floor provides extra assurance for even firings every time. If required this kiln easily disassembles into 3 sections for easy delivery and installation.

This is a double insulated kiln with a wall profile of 2.5” premium firebrick plus 1″ of block insulation.
The floor and lid are constructed with 3″ firebrick and has an additional 1″ of block insulation. The extra insulation ensures a cooler, safer jacket, longer element life, and approximately 30 % savings in electricity costs. The kiln is clad in a stainless-steel jacket for extra protection and durability.
There are heavy-duty Kanthal A-1 elements in the walls and floor. This makes firing to cone 10 possible.
This kiln is equipped with a counterweight lid lifter and advanced Wifi-enabled Genesis touch screen 'Bartlett' controller with multiple zone control panel mounted on an angle for easy viewing.
