Instructions

1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove dust.

2. Apply 2 coats of SC-86 Old Lace to the belly and legs of the alligator using the Soft Fan. Allow glaze to dry between coats.

3. When glaze is completely dry, use ST-127 Crackle Stamp to make a scale pattern on the belly. Take SC-41 Brown Cow and squeeze about a tablespoon onto the plate. Take the sponge on a stick and lightly dip it into the glaze. Blot off any excess onto the bare portion of the plate. Lightly press the sponge on a stick onto the raised portion of the stamp. Make sure entire stamp is covered and glaze has not dried. Press onto belly. Repeat to cover most of the belly.

4. Using the Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of CG-992 Mint Chip to the rest of the alligator. Make sure crystals are evenly distributed. Avoid the eyes, teeth, and legs.

5. Using the dagger brush and SC-39 Army Surplus, highlight around the legs and edge of the belly.

6. Using the Script Liner and CG-992 Mint Chip, apply one coat to the legs. Push crystals to the tops of the legs.

7. Using the Detail Liner and SC-42 Butter Me Up, apply two coats on the eyes. Allow to dry between coats.

8. Using SG-401 Black Designer Liner, add a pupil to each eye. Outline the mouth, teeth, and toes.

9. Using SG-402 White Designer Liner, add a dot to each pupil.

10. Using S-2101 Crystal Clear Brushing, apply one coat over eyes and two coats over teeth. Or, dip into NT-CLR Clear Dipping Glaze.

11. First to cone 06.
