Christmas Tree

Instructions

Tree #1

  1. Begin with BI2034 bisque. Moisten a sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.

  2. Pour about 2 TBS of EL-134 Mirror Blue onto the palette. Thin with water. Using the Soft Fan, apply 1 coat over the tree and base. Take a damp sponge and wipe most of the glaze off. It should only be left in the recessed areas.

  3. Using the Soft Fan with EL-149 Lavender Flower, apply 3 coats to the tree and base. Allow glaze to dry between coats.

  4. Using the Soft Fan with EL-101 Oyster Shell, apply 1 plop coat over the tips of the branches.

  5. Fire to cone 06.

  6. Attach the pinch light to the base. Put the tree on the base.

  7. Place the blue lights on the tree.

  8. Place the clear star on top.

  9. Plug the tree into an outlet and turn on.

Tree #2

  1. Moisten a sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.

  2. Using the Soft Fan with EL-123 Patina, apply 3 coats to the top 2/3 of the tree. Allow glaze to dry between coats.

  3. Using the Soft Fan with EL-122 Malachite, apply 2 coats to the bottom 2/3 of the tree. Allow glaze to dry between coats. Be sure to randomly brush the edge of the last coat so that it’s not a straight line across the tree. Use long, vertical strokes.

  4. Using the Soft Fan with EL-122 Malachite, apply 2 coats to the outside of the base. Allow glaze to dry between coats.

  5. Fire to cone 06.

  6. Attach the pinch light to the base. Put the tree on the base.

  7. Place the green lights on the bottom half of the tree. Place the teal lights on the top half of the tree.

  8. Place the clear star on top.

  9. Plug the tree into an outlet and turn on.

Tree #3

  1. Moisten a sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.

  2. Using the Soft Fan with EL-137 Black Aventurine, apply 3 coats to the tree and base. Allow glaze to dry between coats.

  3. Fire to cone 06.

  4. Attach the pinch light to the base. Put the tree on the base.

  5. Place the lights randomly on the tree.

  6. Place the yellow or clear star on top.

  7. Plug the tree into an outlet and turn on.

Tree #4

  1.  Moisten a sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.

  2. Using the Soft Fan with EL-213 Painted Desert, apply 2 coats to the tree and base. Allow glaze to dry between coats.

  3. Using the Soft Fan with EL-212 Spotted Walnut, apply 2

  4. Using the Soft Fan with EL-122 Malachite, apply 2 coats to the tree and base. Allow glaze to dry between coats.

  5. Fire to cone 06.

  6. Attach the pinch light to the base. Put the tree on the base.

  7. Place the clear and yellow lights randomly on the tree.

  8. Place the yellow or clear star on top.

  9. Plug the tree into an outlet and turn on.
